Yard Waste Guidelines:
Yard waste collection will be suspended after the first week of January and will resume the first week of March. During this time, homeowners wishing to schedule a yard waste pick-up may do so by calling 800-964-8988.
Acceptable yard waste includes only grass clippings, twigs, and small limbs that are properly cut and bundled. Place your yard waste in biodegradable paper bags or create a bundle no larger than 18 inches in diameter and not exceeding 4 feet in length. Individual items should not weigh more than 60 pounds, and there is a limit of 10 bags or bundles of yard waste per resident per week. When bundling limbs, please use twine instead of wire.
Hedge apples, walnuts, and gumballs are collected as yard waste in compost bags, with a maximum weight of 25 pounds (normal bag limits still apply).
For any additional items requiring disposal, a sticker must be attached, which can be purchased from Waste Management in sheets of 10 (up to 10 stickered bags per week).
For further details, please contact Waste Management at 800-964-8988.
